The Ecovacs WINBOT W2 Omni is the most advanced window robot available in the UK. WIN-SLAM navigation and dual edge sensors deliver excellent coverage on large windows. But at £399, it costs £50 more than the HOBOT 2S for marginal improvements. Worth it only for frameless glass and very large windows.
The cable must reach the top of your tallest window from the nearest socket. Add 1 metre for routing around furniture. The Ecovacs W2 at 5.5 m handles windows up to 3 metres from a floor socket.

Larger glass surfaces mean more weight from the cable pulling on the robot. Higher suction prevents the robot sliding or detaching on tall vertical runs. 4,000 Pa is the minimum for windows over 2 metres.

QCan a window robot clean bi-fold doors?
Yes. Place the robot on each glass panel individually. Most bi-fold doors have panels of 70 to 100 cm wide, well within the minimum size requirement. The robot cleans each panel in 3 to 5 minutes. A 4-panel bi-fold takes approximately 15 minutes total.
QDo I need a long cable for large windows?
Yes. The cable must reach from the power socket to the top of the window. For 2.5 m tall windows with the socket at floor level, you need at least a 3 m cable. The Ecovacs W2 at 5.5 m and HOBOT 2S at 5 m both handle most UK large window installations.
QCan window robots clean frameless glass?
